Module 1 – The Virtual Workplace

Candidates explore virtual workplace creation strategies, along with preparing teams for telework and how to both monitor and manage workforce performance.

Module 2 – Choosing the Virtual Team

Team member selection and delegation of duties enter the discussion in Module 2, which focuses primarily on effective team-building and management. The importance of building a dependable and trusting team culture is explored, alongside essential success strategies, utilising appropriate tools/resources, controlling output consistency and the key stages of virtual team development programs. 

Module 3 – Leading Virtual Team

The course concludes with a deeper exploration of team leading from the perspective of a virtual workplace manager. Subtopics covered in-depth include planning and holding remote meetings, the importance of strong and ongoing communication at all levels, how to effectively test prospective virtual workplace programs and the importance/value of diverse working teams.
