Module 4. Product Pricing Strategies
Product pricing strategies are introduced in module 4, in which candidates discuss the various different methods of price determination and associated challenges. The functions and objectives of pricing are discussed, along with key factors that can influence price determination and the possible consequences of failing to price products appropriately.
Module 5. Marketing your Product
In the fifth and final module, candidates learn how to create and implement an effective marketing strategy. Learners study a breakdown of the marketing cycle, an overview of the sales cycle, how to analyse the competition, the role of SWOT analysis in marketing and how to capitalise on the power and reach of social media as part of a wider marketing strategy.
