Module 1 – Introduction to Marketing

Module 3 – Advertising and Networking

The difference between advertising and marketing is outlined in full, along with a number of potentially harmful advertising myths, an exploration of internet marketing strategies, the power and potential of email marketing and the basics of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation).
Module 4 – Promotion Mix
The fourth course module dissects and explores the promotion mix, including a variety of associated issues, influencing factors and challenges. How promotion fits in with the overall marketing mix is discussed at length, along with the importance of flawless communication and the potential value of effective promotional strategies.
Module 5 – Personal Selling and Sales Promotion
Bringing the course to a close, Module 5 guides candidates through a series of techniques, tips and strategies for becoming a better personal seller. The importance of personal selling is outlined and explored, along with the key character traits and skills that make for excellent salespersons and an introduction to both sales promotion and trade promotion.
