In the following module, candidates begin to explore professional makeup application techniques, beginning with an introduction to contemporary salon tools and equipment.  Along with a broad overview of professional contouring, a variety of concealing cosmetics and examples of eye and lip makeup are also introduced.

Module 7 - Professional Make Up Procedures

Make-up continues as the primary core focus of the seventh module, which guides candidates through professional-standard application techniques and how to effectively identify specific facial shapes and features, in order to select the appropriate makeup.  Other subtopics covered include special occasion makeup, photographic makeup and the use of false eyelashes.

Module 8 - Hair Care

The eighth diploma module is dedicated exclusively to professional-level hair care.  Along with learning how to identify and work with a variety of different hair types, candidates explore a variety of effective hair and scalp cleansing and conditioning methods, along with how to style the hair in a variety of ways in conjunction with customer demands.
