Module 1 - Effective Leadership

Module 4 - The Stages of Team Development

Candidates discuss the important role of communication in building and maintaining effective teams, along with the ‘TORI’ methodology to successful team building.
Module 5 - Developing a High-Performing Team
The concept of the high-performing team is introduced in module five, which further discusses the more general advantages and disadvantages of teams. The five stages of high-performing team development are presented and discussed, along with the importance of effective team problem-solving and the defining characteristics of good team players.
Module 6 - Strategic Planning
Module six discusses the various component stages in the strategic planning process, along with the team leader’s role in wider strategic planning. SWOT analysis and its applications are discussed, along with the art of effective delegation, the advantages of becoming a good delegator and the five levels of delegation.
Module 7 – Managing Change in the workplace
Candidates are then introduced to the concept of change management, along with the extent to which planning for change can benefit the entire business. A series of essential time management tips and tricks are presented, along with key factors in successful change, how to create a step-by-step plan for successful change and more.
Module 8 – Managing Conflict in the workplace
Concluding the course, module eight examines the concept of conflict and the extent to which it can escalate if left unaddressed. Each of the five most important conflict resolution styles and their respective applications are discussed, along with tips and guidelines for avoiding conflict through positive communication and how the whole business benefits when everyone gets along.
