Course module three introduces candidates to the four most important elements of design - Lines, Shapes, Colours and Textures.  The importance of carefully considering and meticulously balancing each of these elements is discussed, along with their practical applications in clothing design.

Unit 4: Principles of Design

Concluding the course, module four provides a detailed introduction to the principles of Emphasis, Harmony, Balance and Repetition.  Each of the four major principals of design is considered independently and as a contributor to a cohesive final piece.
