Module 2 – Types of Risk

The three main categorisations of business risks are studied individually in detail – political risk, operational risk and market risk.
Module 3 – Risk Management Process
The fundamentals of the effective risk management process are outlined and discussed in Module 3. Along with a brief introduction to corporate marketing plans, candidates explore a variety of risk management processes and activities, including the evaluation and analysis of any ongoing/current risk management strategies/processes.
Module 4 – Financial Risk Management
Course content in Module 4 takes an in-depth look at financial risk management from a corporate perspective, guiding candidates through foreign investment risk, financial risk scope, the development of efficient financial risk management strategies and more.
Module 5 – Technology Risk Management
A series of essential technology-specific risk management challenges are introduced in Module 5, incorporating an introduction to common examples of business technology and a variety of associated threats/risks. Risk management plan creation and implementation is also discussed further.
Module 6 – Operational Risk Management
Bringing the course to a close, Module 6 introduces candidates to operational risk management (ORM) and the various core elements involved in reducing, controlling and pre-empting a variety of operational risks.
