Unit 5 - Listening Skills

Course unit five examines the key differences between ‘hearing’ and ‘listening’, detailing the importance of active listening skills as a life coach.  Learners also explore the concept of empathetically listening, the importance of accurately interpreting spoken information communicated by clients and more.

Unit 6 - Body Language

A fascinating introduction to body language follows in unit six, in which candidates discover the true value of nonverbal communication.  Several tips and techniques for more effectively reading and interpreting visual cues are presented, along with guidelines for ensuring your own body language sends the right message when working with clients.

Unit 7 - Introduction to Neuro Linguistic Programming

The role of neuro linguistic programming in the field of life coaching is explored in unit seven, which guides candidates through the various functions of neuro linguistic programming and its wide reaching applications.  The use of neuro linguistic programming to develop a stronger and more meaningful rapport with clients is also discussed.

Unit 8 - Communication Styles

Unit eight brings the various different styles of communication into discussion, along with the importance of confidence and assertiveness as a life coach.  Candidates are presented with helpful tips and techniques to improve their communication skills and general confidence when consulting with clients.

Unit 9 - Starting & Running a Life Coaching Practice

Concluding the course, unit nine provides a detailed breakdown of the new business establishment process in life coaching.  Candidates learn how to generate leads and attract clients, market their life coaching business to a viable audience and ensure their compliance with the Charter of Life Coaching Practice at all times.
