Online Leadership Training

What separates the average supervisor from the genuine team leader? Simple – one provides instruction and monitoring, while the other leads by example and inspiration. In all areas of business, inspired and motivated teams contribute enormously to overall success and prosperity. Just as motivation drives operations forward, apathy and lethargy can drive a business into the ground. It takes the skills, knowledge and personal traits of a world-class team leader to build and maintain teams of outstand value.  Business leaders on a global basis are constantly seeking superior team leading talent to both maximise efficiency and enhance employee loyalty.

This Online Leadership Training, courseprovides candidates with a broad overview of leadership from a modern corporate perspective.  Perfectly suited to those looking to begin or advance existing careers in supervisory positions, course content on this leadership training online, course is broken down into five intensive modules.  Along with an introduction to the responsibilities of the team leader, candidates explore the importance of building an effective team culture, how communication underpins all aspects of team leadership, establishing real respect and trust among team members and how to inspire a team to reach its maximum potential, rather than simply giving orders.

This leadership online training course,  is delivered over five in-depth modules:

Module 1 – Establishing Team Norms

In the first course module, candidates are provided with a broad overview of contemporary team leadership and the role it plays in the modern business.  A variety of different types of teams are introduced, along with the identification and setting of workable team norms, team development strategies and a number of associated issues/challenges.

Module 2 – Building Team Trust

Course content in Module 2 focuses more specifically on building team trust and generally earning the respect of team members.  Candidates are provided with an in-depth investigation of TORI (Trust, Openness, Realisation, Interdependence), along with an outline of each key stage in the team development process and various associated team building subtopics.

Module 3 – Communication Skills

The importance of strong, effective and consistent communication enters the conversation in Module 3.  Several essential communication skills from a team leading perspective are discussed, along with effective probing techniques, the importance of highly-developed listening skills and a number of commonly-encountered communication challenges/barriers.

Module 4 – Motivating Employees

The value and importance of consistently motivating employees is discussed in-depth in Module 4.  Candidates discover how the creation of a motivated workplace culture can benefit the business enormously, along with how to identify specific motivating factors/strategies and when/how rewards should be introduced to further boost motivation.

Module 5 – Managing Disciplinary Issues

Bringing the course to a conclusion, Module 5 focuses on managing disciplinary issues in a mutually beneficial manner.  Candidates explore a series of conflict-resolution and problem-solving strategies, along with how to proactively pre-empt potential disciplinary issues and prevent problem-recurrence when and where possible.
