Module 9 – Variance Analysis
The meaning of variance and the importance/value of variance analysis represents the primary core focus of Module 9. Course content introduces and explores several key concepts including sales variances, overhead variances, labour variances, direct material variances and general cost variances.
Module 10 – Ratio Analysis
An introduction to professional ratio analysis follows in Module 10, which guides candidates through managerial uses of the primary ratio, computation and purpose, classification and the norms for evaluation.
Module 11 – Financial Management
The following course unit focuses on the scope, benefits, purposes and associated challenges of professional financial management. Several key concepts covered include the risk-return trade-off, organisation of finance functions, conflict of goals, related financial disciplines and more.
Module 12 – Management of Working Capital
An investigation into the importance and purpose of working capital follows in Module 12, which guides candidates through a variety of different types of working capital and a series of effective working capital management strategies. Course content also outlines determining optimal cash balance, along with managing working capital under inflation.
Module 13 - Investment Methods
In the final course unit, focus shifts to the topic of business investment methods.
