Module5 – Inventory Management
Course Module 5 then shifts focus to a series of critically-important inventory management insights, tools and strategies. A variety of key warehousing topics are discussed at length, including effective stock control techniques, the importance of maintaining a supply and demand buffer, the value of safety stock and the various different categorisations/types of stock.
Module 6 – Transport Management
Bringing the course to a close, Module 6 provides candidates with a breakdown of the physical logistics involved in transporting products, materials and goods in general from one location to another. Along with an exploration of various transportation types, course content introduces working with third-party transport providers, transportation efficiency/cost considerations and more.
