Project Management Course Online.

Project management is a diverse and demanding field for which a variety of interconnecting disciplines must be mastered.  Almost every business will at any one time be juggling a variety of projects and processes – the success or otherwise of eachhaving a significant impact on overall performance.  From the smallest of physical store revamps to large multinational mergers, the responsibilities of the project manager are as varied and challenging as they are rewarding.

This outstanding project management online course, offers a solid introduction to this highly-specialised supervisory discipline.  Suitable for current members of the workforce and those looking to begin fulfilling new careers, no specific prior experience or knowledge is required to get the very most out of this certificate.  A series of five intensive modules of project management course online, gradually guide candidates through the duties and responsibilities of the contemporary project manager, along with an introduction to the project life cycle and a breakdown of project planning essentials.  Coupled with an exploration of key project planning resources, tools and associated challenges, candidates discover why it is that the modern business is fundamentally dependent on forward-thinkers with higher-level project management skills.

This project management course,  is delivered over five in-depth modules:

Module 1 – Introduction to Project Management

The course begins by introducing candidates to the contemporary project manager, outlining the primary duties, responsibilities and value of working professionals.  The benefits of projects from a corporate perspective are explored, along with a breakdown of each of the eight most essential project elements.

Module 2 – Project Life Cycle

Course Module 2 provides candidates with an overview of the project life cycle, which is dissected into its core elements and investigated in-depth.  Additional subtopics introduced include commonly experienced PR issues, effective strategies for working with the media and why establishing an appropriate media image is important.

Module 3 – Project Planning Tools

The following course module explores a series of helpful project planning tools, while also discussing the importance of accurate project preparation and scheduling.  Candidates discuss a variety of related concepts, including the role of teamwork in project management, the work breakdown structure, network diagrams and the use of project flow charts.

Module 4 – Working on A Project

Moving the project forward to implementation represents the central theme in Module 4, incorporating an investigation of the vision process and exactly why project goals must be pinpointed and established ahead of time.  Additional subtopics introduced include the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats Matrix (SWOT Analysis), project deliverables, target charts and more.

Module 5 – Project Risk Management

Concluding the course, the final module explores the most important principles of project risk management from a contemporary corporate perspective.  Candidates are guided through effective risk identification strategies, the importance of risk reduction/avoidance and the basics of both crisis management and business contingency planning.
