Over the course of three highly insightful units of HR online course, you will be introduced to the most important core elements of professional HR management, along with the primary duties and responsibilities of the HR manager. Course Content

This online HR course consists of the following three units:

Unit 1 - The Basics of HR Management

The opening course unit begins by guiding candidates through the contemporary human resource management profession, along with the specific duties and responsibilities of those working in HR.  The importance of high quality HR management from a modern business perspective is discussed, along with a detailed breakdown of the HR code of ethics.

Unit 2 - Training and Development

Course content in the second unit turns attention to workforce training and development.  Along with exploring the importance and provision of outstanding initial training for new employees, candidates also study the value of ongoing training as essential business investment and how to assess and measure the effectiveness of training strategies.

Unit 3 - Managing Performance

In the third and final course unit, candidates explore a variety of employee performance management strategies and techniques.  The mutual benefits of ongoing training and development are discussed, along with how to carry out effective employee appraisals, strategies for identifying individuals that may be prime candidates for career advancement and a variety of challenges and problems associated with employee performance management.

At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement by ABC Awards and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the details of all the units you have completed as part of the course).
